Britain's Mark Cavendish added to his reputation as one of the fastest sprinters in the world by winning the 195km third stage of the Tour of Switzerland.
The 24-year-old, who won the Milan-San Remo classic in March, now has 11 stage victories this year.
Cavendish's Team Columbia colleagues protected him in the final kilometres of Monday's stage before he raced past third-placed Norwegian Thor Hushovd.
Triple world champion Oscar Freire of Spain tried to match the Briton's speed but could only finish second.
Switzerland's Fabian Cancellara of the Saxo Bank team kept the overall lead after taking 10th place in the same time as Cavendish.
Last year's winner Roman Kreuziger of Czech Republic is 22 seconds behind, with Germany's Andreas Kloeden third overall.
"It was another good victory for us and yet again my team-mates gave me a perfect lead out," Cavendish said.
"I had four guys leading me out in the final three kilometres and everything went right.
"Thor got the jump on me in the final 300 metres but I was able to beat him pretty well."
On Sunday, team-mate Bernhard Eisel took the stage to Davos.
"It's the second consecutive win for the team so it's a great race for us. This is the first time I've ridden the Tour of Switzerland but I like it," said Cavendish.
Tuesday's 196.6km stage is from Biasca to Stafa and includes the 2,108m-high Gotthardpass at the start.
