Two of America's best and most winning cyclist are switching bike teams.

As excepted by many cycling insiders Levi Leipheimer will ride for Team RadioShack along side Lance Armstrong in 2010.

The Californian rider will join other Astana riders on the new Texas team which was announced by Lance Armstrong during the Tour de France this year.

"Leipheimer will follow Armstrong, Jose Luis Rubiera and Sergio Paulinho to RadioShack from Astana. Last month, Armstrong confirmed that team manager Johan Bruyneel will also be part of the new team."

In other noteworthy cycling news George Hincapie, the recently crowned American champion, is set to join the American-Swiss team BMC as part of a new two year contract.

“Definitely the idea of working with the young team and helping to build the program appealed to me,” Hincapie said in a press release. “I know a lot of the American racers on the team already and have seen how talented the young Swiss riders are, so I am very excited to help mentor the riders while also focusing on my major goals at the same time.”
